Going to shoot C616 film from 1962

I have, in my hands, a C616 film from 1962. I'm going to shoot this for fun and process it with B&W chemicals. Casual internet search shows it can be done but the details are fuzzy. I'm hoping someone here has done this.

The storage condition for this film is unknown. It's been nearly 50 years since this film left Kodak factory. I'd imagine it has deteriorated to some degree at minimum.

What ISO would you shoot this with?
Between XTOL and D76, which would you use and how long?
Would "rest of the process" be basically the same as B&W films?? (stop, fix, hca, etc?)

This is color film labeled as Kodacolor, for daylight or flash, C 616. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. I don't have diafine either....

I'm a bit surprised someone on APUG land hasn't tried this already....

"Gene M." who frequents photo.net often processes "found film" and posts his results. IIRC, he generally uses HC110. His website is http://westfordcomp.com/updated/found.htm

Problem is that most of the film he finds is really old b/w film. So may leave your Kodacolor in the lurch.
