Going to Kiev - any shopping posibilities ?

Hi all.

I am going on a trip to kiev soon, where I will get some time off and be able to shop some used camera equipment (if this is the thing to do in Kiev?)

I don't know anything about camerashops in Kiev - but I figured some other APUGers might?

Well, there's a member here called "Jim_in_Kyiv", you might want to send him a PM

Not sure about used, but if you're in the market for a CLA'd Kiev 60 or Kiev 88 I believe I've read that you can make arrangements with the owner/operator of Arax Photo to pick one up while you're there.

If it was me, I'd try to arrange a tour of the Arsenal factory (the transplanted Zeiss factory from East Germany, maker of the Kiev Contax-class cameras, and later the Kiev 88 and Kiev 60 cameras, as well as lenses), mostly for historical interest.
