Going backwards, R-9 bleach with D-94A

Hi Everyone. I am hoping to use a Kodak R-9 dichromate bleach with the revised D-94A first developer.

When R-10 bleach was introduced, Kodak updated D-94 to D-94A, switching the Sodium Thiocyanate for DTOD (Dithiaoctane diol). The Sodium Thiocyanate is incompatible with the new R-10 bleach.

Do you know if the DTOD in D-94A would be incompatible with a Potassium Dichromate bleach?

DTOD will most likely be compatible with R-9 bleach, or pretty much any bleach you throw at it. I have no personal experience with D-94(A) and R-9/10, so anyone's practical experience would supersede whatever I state here.

Kodak reworked D-944 to conform to the Eu proscription on the release of hydroquinone into the environment. Its use is no had nothing to do wit any other consideration such as the use of dichromate.longer recommended. AFAIK the use of D-94A is not connected with any change in the the use of dichromate.
