I gotta admit, albumen, salt and cyanotype are fun to work with, but, I have made the decision to go back to silver gelatin paper for smaller prints especialy for stereo plates for better detail. The reason is to not waste so much silver and other material on images that do not work well for one reason or another, and it is a lot more convenient to just go into the darkroom any time and crank out a few prints when the urge hits, and the time savings as well, thank goodness for RC paper.

Printing the hard way will still be done. Collodion is still my alternate material of choice, it's nice to work with glass and metal.

It's nice to shift focus from time to time, but don't get rid of all the alt photo stuff yet ....
