I've a set of Leica goggles but cant find any kind of markings to show what lens they would go on. Is there a way to tell?

I don't have a Leica body or any lenses, just the goggles.

Thanks,

Here's a few shots. Sorry it took so long to get back on this, life got in the way for a bit...

In the first shot you can see some odd colors reflected in the rectangular lens, and a weird pattern (dark area) within those colors. Looks like it could be lens separation, do these have cemented elements?

Looks pretty much like the one I have for the 50 f2 DR lens.

There are only two lenses that had removable goggles. 50mm Summicron and 35mm Summaron.
I think the one for the 35 used a small thumbscrew to lock it in place.
Col Colt, is the mount on yours like his or a dovetail?

It looks just like his but mine just says "Leitz Wetzlar" instead of E. Leitz Wetzlar. the notch in his second picture is a little larger than mine as is that circle. It looks that way at any rate.

This looks like the "goggles" for my dual range Summicron, including the mount (not a dove tail). Mine too is engraved E. Leitz Wetzlar. A 1972 Leica catalogue I have shows the DR Summicron "Goggles" simply engraved Leitz Wetzlar.

The notch and the divot are part of the "system design" (for want of a better term) that keeps one from using the close-range without the "goggles" in place (or the regular focussing range with the "goggles" in place).

Thank you David and ColColt! As you both seem to be in agreement I'll go with the DR.

I'm thinking the odd pattern and colors in the rectangular lens (separation?) make these pretty much worthless but I guess I'll hang on to them in case I have a Leica someday. They at least look good on the shelf.
