The shutter works. The speeds change. But it's not consistent. Easy CLA for you to get your feet wet. These are primitive and simple. Glass is lovely but also needs a clean. When you hold it up to a good light source you can see the dust and gook. Sorry no flange. In use these have a unique look wide open. Pre WWII textbook illustrations are the look these give. Sharp but not bright. They shoot best indoors. They get punished by flare outdoors in bright light / high contrast. A cheap lens to dabble beyond the world of the boredom of plasmat's. Cobble this onto a Nikon Bellows and make some stunning portraits in 35mm. $55 + probably $8 for a mailing envelope.
I liked my Nikon idea so much that I did it. The images made with THE lens are shown for the purpose of giving you an idea of how the lens bokeh works. I literally rubber banded it onto the bellows and walked out the door and made these snaps. Buyer Beware. Yes I did some post processing to get contrast back. The Nikon was set to f2.8 so they were all slightly overexposed. No sharpening in camera or out. Anyways hope I'm in the Photrio guide lines. Only want to show what the glass is capable of.
