Barrel lens in excellent condition, glass is immaculate with no marks, scratches or other nasties. Aperture smooth, barrel shows light wear but no major damage. These have a very wide field of view and are supposed to work on up to 8x20. Make offer.
I'm just selling at what seems to be market value but will negotiate a bit for Apugers. The last one sold (and the only one I could find) went for 1880 on a no reserve auction...
Fill me in someone. From what I can tell it is a process lens, not apo, slow, less coverage than a conventional Dagor. Just wondering what is so special about this particular lens?
It is supposed to cover huge formats, like 11X14 or larger..not sure why it is so much, someone paid a large sum for one on eBay now they are worth huge sums of money as that is the only reference for past sales. For the money I am sure there are sharper lenses like my 12" Goerz Dagor
Lenses which cover 20" are pretty rare, the Trigor is rarer still. I'm simply selling at close to what seems to be market value based on several sales and recommendations I've had by folks who know the lens. And yes Colin, the Dagor is a lovely lens.
