Well i went and did it, broke my very nice, very useful official KODAK darkroom thermometer in two. As u know, Kodak is out of biz so
these are worth about $3000US,if u can find one...;>

Seems to not be filled w/ mercury so
tried using Superglue and did a VERY nice job of gluing the darn thing to my workbench!
Had to knock it off very gently using my wife's nose.
Anyone ever try to glue one back together? I assume its glass. it broke in two sections w/ no pcs missing.

Ez...

What you now have... is an ex-thermometer.

Ken

(the "ex" does not imply excellent!)

hey Ken -Python fan? haha
Whats so sad is it was the original Kodak therm in the nice paper tube which looked great in my darkroom but wet, hasty hands...
LOVE the old photo gear and chem boxes. i got old an Kodak SODIUM ACETATE bottle i'm sure is no good anymore but looks so cool on the shelf!
Thanks for links, guess i'll get a new one.
