Hello, I have made only one 16 x 20 print but I have been thinking what is normal to use Gloss or Pearl for bigger prints because of reflection. I notice ilford sell more sizes in the pearl not the gloss is it for this reason and is their an issue with the pearl concerning the rich blacks?

Gloss for me, I do not like the low maximum density level that comes with matte paper. I never use matte.

Which apple do you like?
-I like oranges.

I use pearl RC for larger prints. I also find glossy RC doesn't usually look great but I do use it from time to time. I've used matte before but that was when I was making a 'business-card' type of thing and printing images on them...believe me it took more work than it should have but it was fun...and having a stack of mini, hand-printed photos is nice. Okay...too far off-topic.

FB is nice though and glossy is a pretty way to go if you want down that street.
