Hello there,

I know didymium glass intensify colors. If I am not wrong, Lanthanides contains some rare elements and should intensify colors also. How can I select a glass from catalog with looking some variables on the list and understand that glass and how that glass intensify color ?

Hi Umut,

I doubt that you can get optical glass in any reasonable quantity... probably nothing less than 100kg as a guess.
If you could, you'd have to melt it, form it, grind the surfaces and profile, then center it.
That's a lot of work with specialized equipment.

You might check with Edmund Optics, one of the largest manufacturers of optical products in the US.
They offer a wide range of lens elements. I don't know what options exist for glasses.
