Performance is Gitzospeak for adjusting each leg to a different angle and having a two section center column.
The old designation is: Series 3 and it's suitable for 4X5/5X7 cameras. (or Minox)
Most heads will be the limiting factor as far as weight is concerned
The lowest height will be around 15", use their short column and get to ground level.
collapsed it's ................27 1/4"

With column fully extended............ 84"

center plate is 3 1/4" diameter.
It does have paint chips on the upper leg sections. but no other problems.
