Gitzo G410 capacity at lowests

Does the capacity of Gitzo G410 diminish as the legs are spread for low angle shooting? It would appear that there is a lot more stress on what looks to me like nylon position stops when it's at it's lowest position.

You're sure it is nylon?
Used to be aluminium, and then: as stable as in any other position.
