Gitzo Alpha(Sony) Traveler GK1545TA, is it usable for other camera brands and other QR plates?

Hello everybody,
Could not find any confirmed info!
Is it alpha specific due to only the alpha specific quick release plates?
Or, due to something else? Like head clamp type?
Serious info before sending money!
Please share your experience and thoughts.
This tripod has two advantages over the ordinary equivalent Gitzo GT1545T at roughly the same price tag:
One, it’s far from being updated soon compared to the 2015 Gitzo GT1545T.
And, it’s stylish and more beautiful.
All Gitzo tripods need deep pocket, but after extensive search I found GT1555T is the travel tripod that suits my needs best. But, if GK1545TA is usable for other plates and camera brands, I will compromise the folded height of GT1555T(14”) for the stiffness and shape of GK1545TA. Both could be accommodated even in my smaller travel case.

Contacted customer service, they confirmed that GK1545TA can be used for other cameras and other ArcaSwiss compatible quick release plates. The tripod is Alpha specific due to the provided Alpha specific plate, only.
So, regardless of the quick release plate provided, and as far as I understand, GT1545T tripod and head clamp, is functionally the same as GK1545TA, but in different style, at roughly the same price.
Just sharing what I think is important for this thread.
