Tom,
I made up some G.262 some time ago. Using it at 1:5 produced very warm tones, albeit after a considerable development time (6 mins +). Bumping up the temp. to around 25C helped somewhat. I did find it produced what I can only describe as a (not unpleasant) ivory 'stain' in the highlights and border areas, which may have contributed to the overall warmth. Wonderful warm, chocolatey blacks were produced. Selenium toning gave the prints even more depth but destroyed the ivory tint and left me with slighty muddy looking whites. BLIGHTY.
