Getting started with pinhold photography

I have a Holga pinhole and for a level I use one of those double levels that is made for a hot shoe. I had an old cold shoe laying around which I double-sided taped to the top using a square, then mounted the level. It could just be taped on, but I had the shoe. It is way better than the bubble level on the camera, and more convenient than carrying a level.

Well, after much deliberation I think I've settled on Ilford's harman titan 4x5 pinhole camera. I think if I'm going to take the plunge, I might as well go all in and plunge into 4x5 sheet film at the same time. It's a costly camera but Ilford has been very supportive of the film community along with being a major supplier of film related products. I think I'll support them. Plus the camera looks cool.

Iis it difficult to remove the lens on one of the old point and shoot 120 size cameras to add a pinhole? I have an old Certo Certina and I have been speculating about taking out the lens to make a 6x6 pinhole camera. I have a couple of pinholes mounted on vinyl from James Guerin. Can these lenses be unscrewed? I was thinking I could use it set to B.

Assuming it's in a shutter, close the camera, open the back and check to see if there's a retaining nut (probably has two small slots, on opposite sides) around the shutter. If there is, unscrew it & the shutter should drop out to the front.

Thanks, I will look into that. I saw someone on flickr had made one of these into a pinhole but he didn't give any details.
