While learning the whole new process of open aperture and shutter, ground glass, film holders, dark slide, etc. with the Super Graphic, I ran across something unexpected. I had become quite spoiled by the rotating cradle for the standard stainless steel tank that held 135, 127 and 120 film. The "set it and forget it" (for six and a half minutes) was much more convenient that standing there sloshing water everywhere twice a minute to do inversions.

So as I stood there sloshing water everywhere with the SP-445 tank, numerous contraptions raced thru my head. But no matter what form it took, the notion of that flat, paddle-like tank churning around in the water bath never sat right.

So mountain/Mohammed, long story short...

You have to cut off the little fill level tab to get the feed tube to fit into the tank. Then it's just a matter of being a bit careful with the rubber stoppers, Other than that, it seems to work great.
