German Television 5 Minutes on Fotoimpex

Mirko
Nice video- I did not understand a word but I got the point and enthusiasm of your business.
Bob

Rather very short but they showed the construction of new building, which is nice. Never visited their shop, hopefully in near future.

Congratulations on the exposure, I too couldn't understand much of any of it, but the passion of Fotoimpex comes through.

Nice to hear young people talk about photography.

It was on the main news at 19:30 on RBB. Given the format this was extraordinarily long ;-)

Congratulations Mirko, great publicity for Fotoimpex/Adox and analogue photography in general.

To put the article in context, RBB is the regional TV and Radio station for Berlin and the surrounding state of Brandenburg. This article is part of a series that they are presenting during the prime news slot about all things analogue under the rubric ‘in which niches has analogue survived’.

The description about the article states “Digitization determines our lives. It is the dominant trend in all public, professional and private sectors. However, analogue photography is still alive in Berlin. For example, the Berlin shop Fotoimpex in Mitte (central district of Berlin) which offers everything for analogue photography: roll films, instant cameras, enlargers, etc”.

The article explains that Mirko started off 20 years ago by importing and selling everything for analogue photography and then subsequently also as a manufacturer (under the Adox label). He now has over 30 members of staff and what you see in the film is the new building he is constructing for a coating machine.

Bests,

David.

I wish you guys will catch up more air time when the new building is up and running.

Enjoyed it thoroughly! Hope the new production facility can soon start business and that we will see Polywarmtone again.

Congratulations Mirko!

Very nice indeed!
Almost every film, almost every C-41 kit, all the plastic bottles and definately all the Paterson tanks I bought so far came from your shop.
Keep up the good work and the fair prices!

Congratulations, Mirko. It's always nice to see the face that goes with the person I've communicated with. BTW, you're English is very good; sadly, can't say the same for my German.

A very interesting feature, I've learnt more about your business in those few minutes than I have through perusing the web over some time.

Congratulations, wonderful buzz seems to be emerging from all those interviewed.

Mick.
