Here's a guy who still shoots 4x5 colour transparencies of landscapes. The November 2008 Outdoor Photographer cover featured one of his images - shot on film. We seem to ooh and ahh the B&W ones, here's a chance for some colour.
Wish he were on APUG (maybe he is?), but he may be booed off since he scans his film and makes chromogenic wet prints (not inkjets), but some APUGers still view that as hybrid blasphemy.
I don't really have an opinion on the workflow beyond capture/development if it pays the rent. Right tool for the job, etc. I suppose that should be across the board. Call it my double standard. I do commend him for great work with analog tools to get the shot. I'll try to ignore the fact the some of his work is with a DSLR. He's got an eye for good composition and travels to some very photogenic locations. I like his work.
