Man-Oh-Man..................Auto Racing, Rock and Roll, Photography...........the Golden Years, For Me have LONG come and gone.
LIFE Magazine sure had their fair share of quality photographers.
I had never of George until just a few days ago. I "discovered " him while looking at a book of Life Photos.
It was the picture below that turned me onto him.

Unfortunately Chip I'm old enough to remember George Silks photography in Life Magazine, he was one of the photographers who I greatly admired who worked for the magazine when I was young.

Is this the recent book published in 2020? If so, how is the book as I've read hardly a photography book, but more focused on stories behind them.

BTW.............. "Divine Entry" is the title of the photo.
Per usual, the print in the book is quite a bit more stunning that what i posted on the forum.

BTW, I was referring to this new one.
I think it is fabulous.
New copies are pretty cheap and used copies are too.
I wonder how many photos appear in both of the books we have linked to.? :wondering:
