I heard that another post besides my own had been made about the web site and when I looked for it I found this question. I had asked the Eastman House to let me know when the PDF file was ready for publication so I could send a note about its availability to people who had asked me for a copy by e-mail of the first edition. They informed me that they were going to do an e-mail notification themselves and would add any e-mail addresses I wanted to give them (which turned out to be about 150). IF you requested one of my earlier books by an e-mail to me, that is likely where they got your address. If you did not, then I don't know how they got it. They got only e-mail addresses from me; I don't know what the link is with APUG user names. This was a one-time use for this notice only so you shouldn't have been added to any of their regular distribution lists. If you do, let me know (kitfunderburk@gmail.com) and I will ask them to stop.
