I have a kind of related or side project. I've been reading about POP light meters. There was excellent talk recently by Erin Fisher from Eastman Museum here
that got me thinking (and ogling Watkin's Bee Meters on eBay).
I was wondering if there were a way to make a simple POP paper to use as a light meter in the field for my own emulsion dry plates. Could I even use the same emulsion on a roll of paper and just check how quick it prints out as a guide to exposure? Does anyone do this?
Anyhow just thinking aloud.
