I can't watch it either - being in the UK.Argh US only.
I've been dying to see this film. I wish the filmmaker would allow purchase or rentals in non-US countries.
I've just searched some links, with most of them still not allowing me to watch it in the UK, but these two links say you can watch it at home.
I saw the film in the theatre in Vancouver, and the director was there to answer questions!
It was really a good experience.
I watched it again when PBS broadcasted it recently, and was amused at a couple of minor edits that most likely made it more palatable for some TV viewers.
Well it is PBS, my recollection is that PBS also invested in the movie's creation, so I'm happy to cut them some slack. That made me chuckle as well. It is PBS, after all...
One that comes to mind ...I am curious what they cut?
Christ All Mighty.!
I did not note the time, but it was toward the end.
They are discussing color, and that Joel Meyrowitz says he is printing color "now" and that it is almost as easy as B&W.
Garry says Bull Shit.
They guys says, "That is what Joel said".
Garry said it would be hard for him because he shoots 600 rolls a year.!
Did he really shoot that much.!
I can understand that maybe in a period of 3-4-5 months, you might shoot two roll a day.
Did he really shoot 600 rolls for several years in a row.?
I suppose it would be easy to shoot 2 rolls a day if that is all i did. I am not a professional photographer, so there is no way i could deal with that amount.
Although, i guess he couldn't either. He reportedly had several thousand rolls of undeveloped 35mm film.
It just sounds a staggering number
