I picked up an OM-10 with 50mm kit lens at a garage sale, plus a Canon FD mount tele-converter, and a +10(?) diopter. Ten dollars... it is my birthday, I splurged!

Issues:
OM mirror does not quite make it back to the rest position, unless I actuate a lever within the base mechanism (with plate removed)
EDIT: it seems the shutter (and mirror) operation is electro-mechanical, so fresh batteries to follow?

Lens has some fungus

Any OM expert in the house?

EDIT 2: Looking around, I found two 357 batteries and the OM-10 works like a champ!

The camera has a nice feel to it
Lens may be a repair practice item, unless fungus does messes too much?

Good deal! I scored an OM 10 at an "antique" shop with a clean f1.8 and an ever ready case. The OM 10 didn't seem to work, but somewhere I remember reading about the whole thing being battery dependent. Total cost was $30, less the 15% off special of the day. Sure enough, with fresh cells it worked just fine. I now have a winder, the dedicated flash, a 28mm, a 135mm, plus an OM 4 which works well before it eats the cells. Such is life!

Thanks tor the well wishers. Lens came back pretty nicely after a casual cleaning.

Very close... minor differences between mine and the YT example:
Mine reads "ZUIKO' instead of "F-ZUIKO" additional MC, then "Japan" instead of serial number
Not sure what that means in Olympus-speak?
