This is an E. Degen of Paris Petzval Portrait lens. That is all I know about the maker. It isn't listed in the Vade Mecum.
It has a long list of flaws etc to define. These will probably cost me over $500 that I would ask if it were perfect. But NONE of them will lessen the glorious Petzval signature and bokeh. This lens will make gorgeous images.
OK, here goes. It has a small chip at the rear light, a ding at the front, leftover if you glance light in the right direction you can see that it once had some fungus, the front lens shade didn't come with it when it was new, it was added later and is just a friction fit, blah, blah, blah........
OK, now that I've weeded the braggers and collectors out, to you folks that would enjoy a classic petzval of 11.5 inches, f3.8 that will cover 8X10 easily at portrait distances, this lens is an incredible bargain at $365 + shipping.
