Galaxy Hyper Speed Direct Positive Paper

I inherited some of this a while back. I am cleaning things out and it is in the pile to toss in the waste bin but...

...can this be used as normal photo paper without worrying about the "direct positive" or "reversal" part of the process. If so, I may try it with some normal Ilford or Kodak paper developer and fixer.

Any ideas or experiences?
