Not that I need to worry about this one projector since I have half a dozen better ones but, my GAF projector started smelling like burnt electronics. I opened it up and found that one of the slots in the socket was corroded as well as the pin. Looks like it has melted a bit from the built up heat, everything else looks to be in working order. My question is, does anyone still make projector lamp sockets or does anyone know of a source for NOS parts like that or maybe some kind of conversion? I could part it out or just use it for display but I would rather save it since the repair is very easy to do and I'll save the wear and tear on my Kodaks. Not to mention I have 3 or 4 extra brand new projector lamps for it.

Thanks!

A few weeks ago we had another thread on same issue. Several models of sockets are available, so most likely there will be one apt without any or with only little adaptation.
