G2 Finder, is this normal?

Does anyone else have a problem (annoyance?) of a badly flaring finder on the G2 with the 90 is attached? Could mine be in need of a good scrubbing, or "do they all do that"? Love the 90, but the finder is all but impossible to use for back- and side-lit subjects.
