We had a couple days of dramas behind the scenes with a googlebot search indexer that went haywire, scanning us millions of times a day. It was basically growing our site database around 5 GB an hour (not good), and maxing out our server load. It's now under control and I also rebuilt the search index with some additional features (hopefully search is slightly better). The site should be more snappy as well.
