A new Kaiser Rodagon 50mm 2.8 is a whopping $750 from NYC stores.

What is a "Kaiser Rodagon"?
Even on the current Kaiser website the Rodagons show up without Kaiser branding, but in their original dressing.

Drop the Kaiser name and the price for the original Rodenstock 50/2.8 lens falls to a more realistic US$411 from BHPhotovideo.com

AgX Kaiser is a (german) enlarger brand

Over here (Netherlands) the best 50mm enlarging lenses (Nikon, Schneider, Rodenstock etc. also Apo versions and F/2.8) in excellent condition are sold for some 30 - 80 Euros. A Leitz Focotar 2 will be more costly, up to some 200 euros. Nobody over here will pay more than that for any enlarging lens. And nobody will even consider buying a new lens from a manufacturer... why would you?
