I'll be moving us to a new server in roughly 24hrs. It's the same great host, a much better deal and should also be a slight performance jump. The site will be locked during this time (backup, data transfer, restore), as we have around 80 Gig of data this process can take 3-5hrs. I've done a mock migration that went smoothly so do not anticipate any major dramas. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the heads-up, Sean. So that would be approximately 7PM to midnight U.S. Eastern Standard Time on Saturday. Fingers crossed for an easy migration; I personally appreciate the efforts you make to keep Photrio operating smoothly.
How do we only have 80Gb of data? Like we could fit all of Photrio on a 128Gb flash drive? I guess it’s mostly text and lo-res images, and we’re not hosting audio or video, but all those contributors over all those years...

It's amazing how much you can pack into a database, and luckily we're not too active on image posts otherwise we'd be talking about many many TB of data.

Bit of an ordeal as these things never seem to go to plan, but we got there in the end. We are now on the new server. If you come across any errors please let me know. It's possible we'll need to adjust some memory settings, but so far things seem fine.
