fyi- "My Posts" and "My Threads" rebuilt to function like before..

Hi All,

Finished with the "My Posts" rebuild. "My Posts" is located in the main menu bar (sub menu). I believe this is how it was before. Also, restored lsub menu links for when you are viewing "My Posts" and "My Threads". Any issues let me know. Thanks!

Just noticed that when accessing "My Posts" from the drop-down menu at my name, I go to the recent first version of 'My Posts', not your fixed version.

I do not see the use of the Avatars.

-) in "My Threads" it does not give a one-glance indication that one really is in that very listing (if that would be the idea behind it ??) unless one installed an avatar, otherwhise just a general placeholder shows up.

-) in "My Posts" it indicating the thread starter gives no useful information. The fact that one posted in that thread already made it interesting.
The additional indicator that one posted in that thread is even more reduntant

1) in 'My Threads', if there is an avatar a small one appears inside the big one but yes most people don't have avatars so it's mainly not much point. I am ok with removing avatars from my threads at some point.

2) In 'My Posts' I have been finding it useful at a glance to see which are my threads or others threads based on the avatars.

It's tough though, as I often live in a tug of war world. I have had a couple people slam the fonts being used, but many more saying they love the fonts. Those having a very hard time with it, I have recommended they force their browser to use a different font here. As for removing the avatars on My Posts, I am sure if I did that 10 people would go "Yay!" and 10 people would go "Agh! Where are the avatars!". I am trying to offer as much customization as possible without having a control panel of 100 settings, we have to pick our battles via gauging feedback..

About the coming complaints you are probably right. But I just do not see the use of the avatars in both cases. But probably there are other things to be better discussed.

I find it very useful having the mini avatar showing in lower right of thread starters avatar. This functionality was in old version but implemented differently. i.e. you could see at a glance which threads you had posted to which is useful if you are searching for an old post you made but can't remember which thread it was in.

In My Threads and My Posts you always posted.

The only indication that little avatar in My Posts makes is that you are the last who did a posting.
