Hi All,

My 3yr stint at the IT day job is winding down with my 4 weeks notice put in today. I am looking forward to diverting my full attention back to the website and community. It's been challenging to juggle both.

The only way this has become possible is through the generosity of the community. Subscribers, Partners, Advertisers, those who keep ads enabled and our moderation team all converge to create this opportunity. I can't thank you enough.

There are a lot of things I want to get done in the near future, especially revisiting feedback, feature requests, bugs, code updates, and a lot more.

Thanks again for your continued support and patience,

Sean

The last upgrade was good. Be careful of moving too fast. RFF has made two software upgrades in two years. The website is now a shadow of its former self. Only a limited number of people are now posting, several of whom treat it as their private Flickr account, cramming every photo they have ever taken down the throats of a captive and largely defenseless audience. I have abandoned RFF. LFPF has stayed the course software-wise, but is moribund. I guess everything that can be said about large format photography has already been said. The only thing keeping it alive is that some Photrio members post the same threads there as they do here. If you visit Photrio, there is not much reason to visit LFPF other than as a research archive. Photrio is now the only photography forum I regularly frequent. I am particularly encouraged now that the moderators having gotten their hormones under control. Keep up the good work. You are doing a terrific job.

Mostly patch updates and bug fixing planned initially, so nothing that would radically change the site.
