Hello, I'm interested in either mixing up some FX-2 or purchasing (likely) the Formulary's TFX-2. Is this developer similar at all to Acutol? Also, does anyone have plus and minus times for Tri-x or PanF?

Take a peak in Troop & Anchell: Mr. Troop talks about it quite a lot.

If I recall he does write quite a lot about it, but what he writes is largely in relation to FX-1 and Beutlers IIRC. I'll have to go reread it tonight. Of course, like all thing, I'll have to have a go at it myself to draw any real conclusions.

TFX-2
From all I've read, acutance and edge effect are similar/same. In fact, shortly, I will be testing TFX-2 as a replacement for Acutol.

N-Value/TriX
N-1 = 0.69 x normal development time
N+1 = 1.62 x normal
