Anchell & Troop in the FDC 2nd offer hints about Acutol on pp. 72-74. They disclose the formula for FX-21 Acuspecial and say it could be seen roughly as a highly diluted version of FX-14. They said that FX-14 had 1 g combined of phenidone, metol and hydroquine. (Added together they equal 1g) It had 2.5 g. of carbonate. It was buffered with sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate. It had a small amount of pot. bromide, and a minuscule amount of pot. iodide.
