I discovered that I have fungus in my 40mm FLE and 150 CF lenses, both on the inside of the rear elements.

Who is a recommended repair person? And how much might this cost? I'm in California.

People have commented in here that Samy's has a good Hasselblad tech in L.A. Otherwise David Odess who is in Mass. is a favorite of many here.
David publishes his rates on his web site. The fungus may, or may not, be repairable however. Eventially it etches the glass and at that point the damage to the affected element is permanent.

I just got my hassy stuff back from Dave Easterwood in MI, he was great. Everything works great and I talked to him over the phone a couple of times throughout the process, which was nice. His number is 734-433-2640 and his email is davescamera@earthlink.net

Also forgot to mention his prices are very good.

Update: I had David Odess do the repair, and his xlnt work came to only $60 per lens. Note that David will not disassemble a lens group, so the fungus must be on the outer elements of the lens groups. In my case, the problems were on the elements facing the shutter.

Did David also CLA the lens shutter and mech while he was inside?
