One fine day while processing gelatin tintypes I accidentally discovered the joys of heating the plate fresh out of the wash water with a heat gun. Loe and behold I got an interesting affect that perhaps others could use for an artful manipulation.

This has probably been done before but what the heck! Imagine the possibilities with negatives, portraits, or whatever.

The gelatin was not hardened.

Accidentally hit it with a heat gun huh? What a pleasant, albeit weird finding.
