Hi, everyone;

just some two weeks ago I got a nice Graflex Crown 4x5 from Nice without a lens. Actually I did want to have my own lenses choice:

- a Fujinon-W 1:5,6/105 mm as a "28mm" wide-angle lens, and
- a Fujinon-W 1:6,3/250 mm as a light "70mm" tele and portrait lens.

Can anyone say more on these two lenses particularly using it in a Crown Graflex and for 4x5 format??

Thanks a lot indeed!
Yours truly

The 105 is marginal on 4x5 but since the Crown Graphic has minimal movements this shouldn't be a problem. Just check the corners when using much of the camera's rise.

The 250 should be fine on a Crown. Flange-to-film distance at infinity is 228 mm. The Crown's maximum extension is 317 mm.

If you have never shot 4x5 before, I'd recommend a 150mm lens. Wide angle lenses can be difficult to use for the beginner. For example, the center detents will have to be perfectly set, as it is usually quite difficult to center the lens 'freehand' when setting up a shot.
