Hi there everyone, i've recently come into possession of a broken Fujimoto CP30-3H Print Processor, which i'm trying to restore to it's former glory. It's label on the side suggests it's power requirements are 100V & 260w, 50/60hz & i get the feeling it's previously been run at 220-240v by mistake, perhaps with an incorrect fuse, as the transformers for the agitation motors/fans have blown. The rest of the machine seems in alright condition.
What i'm hoping to find out is, can this unit be run on 110V US power with no issues? I've noticed a few posts on here from US users regarding the unit who i'm hoping can clarify this. I live in the UK & want to get it a dedicated stepdown transformer, but a dedicated UK-Japan 100v unit is significantly harder to come by(& more expensive) than a UK-US converter. The last thing i want is to fix the unit, then shorten the life of the replacement motors(basically available nowhere except Alibaba in bulk quantities, so still trying to work that out) by running it at the wrong voltage.
If anyone out there has any other suggestions at all or info regarding the electronics, i'd be very grateful to receive it. Unfortunately a lot of the CP-31 documentation doesn't apply to the CP-30 so i'm running blind a little, as there's no schematic available anywhere. It's a really smart bit of engineering & i can't wait to get it up & running!
