  • This is a list of current (Oct. 26, 2015) production Fujifilm professional color film
  • This list is updated based on information from official Fujifilm Japan press releases only
  • This list does NOT include consumer films
  • Film listed here is currently available in Japan, but depending on local importer and distributor policy may or may not be available in your domestic market (you can order online from Japan or a third country if you cannot find a specific product locally)
  • For convenience I have added films that have been discontinued recently but are not yet sold out in Japan (= get them while you can)

Thanks for the research and thanks for Matt King's suggestion to make it a sticky.

It would make things a bit easier for me (and also help to avoid confusion) if there was a way to make the initial post with the table permanently editable. Not sure if this is technically possible. Thanks, John

+1.

And as an addition: One professional colour film should be integrated to this list: FP-100c instant film (glossy and silk).

The list of current amateur colour films made by Fujifilm:

- Fujicolor 100
- Industrial 100
- Industrial 400
- C200
- Superia 200
- Superia X-Tra 400
- Superia X-Tra 800
- Superia 1600 / Natura 1600
- Instax Mini
- Instax Wide.

All in all, professional films and amateur films together, Fujifilm is currently offering the biggest range of different photo film types of all manufacturers.
No other manufacturer offers so many different films (in number), and so many different film types (colour reversal, colour negative, BW negative, instant integral film, peel apart instant film).
It is also in our hands to keep it alive. Use it or loose it....as always.

Best regards,
Henning

There was a LOT of a film branded Fuji VENUS when I was in Japan last year. This is an ISO 800 film. Is it the exact same as Superia 800?

Has anyone else noticed that Fuji Acros 100 in 4x5 and 8x10 is no longer on the shelves? It seems to be out of stock everywhere. It appears that B&H has shown it as discontinued. Freestyle has it listed as back ordered, and overdue from vendor. This does not sound good, but may not indicate discontinuance. At the very least this should alarming. I can't imagine that it is being pulled for not being popular.

Talk to the US importer, that might be closer to the cause of the apparent shortage.

Fuji USA long ago ceased distributing 8x10 Acros. It now appears to have stopped bringing in the 4x5 version too. Note this page

which says "Available in 35mm and 120 formats." B&H appears to have decided direct ("gray market") importing of 4x5 is not sufficiently profitable. Adorama and Freestyle either haven't picked up on the US distributor's discontinuation yet or are going to bring in 4x5 Acros from the Japanese market themselves.

Wow......losing 4 x 5 Acros is a big deal. Fujifilm continues their march towards eliminating all film.

Why are we "losing 4x5 Acros"? Please, this is about a discontinuation of distribution by Fuji US, not about a discontinuation of the production by Fujifilm JP. There is no official annoucement of an end of production of Acros sheet film and it is still readily available in shops in Japan and elsewhere in the world.

This thread was meant to be an up to date and easily accessible source of reliable information on product availability and as such made a sticky. It was not meant as a discussion thread about product availability and certainly not as place for speculation and rumours.

So please do not use this thread to start discussions, ask questions etc. as it will only make the relevant information more difficult to find. If you want to start a discussion, create your own thread or join the discussion in one of the already existing threads.

Thank you.

Update for beginning of 2020:
At Photokina 2018 Fujifilm has made a very clear commitment to film and continued film production. There was a big billboard with this statement and identical flyers for visitors of their booth (this flyer with the statement is attached, see below).
At Photokina 2018 the Fujifilm standard film programme (instax films excluded) for global distribution was listed as
- C200 in 135
- X-Tra 400 in 135
- Pro 400H in 135, 120
- Provia 100F in 135, 120, 4x5", 8x10"
- Velvia 50 in 135, 120
- Velvia 100 in 135, 120, 4x5", 8x10".
Then last year in addition Acros II as successor of Acros I was introduced in 135 and 120 formats. So far in the Japanese market only, global distribution will most probably follow this year.
And in Japan fresh Velvia 50 in 4x5" and 35mm CN "Industrial 100" (most probably based on former Fujicolor 100 / Superia 100 emulsion) are offered. Some film distributors import it to other countries.
It is an excellent film: Very natural colour rendition, excellent skin tones, very good sharpness and high resolution, fine grain.
There are some hints that this film could get back an international box/packaging and name for global distribution. But that is not officially confirmed yet. We will have to wait and see. And we could / should tell our (local) Fujifilm subsidiaries that there is demand for that excellent film globally and we want it and other film re-introductions.
Acros II demonstrates that Fujifilm is listening. But of course they look also at their sales: The higher the demand and the stronger the increase, the higher the chance for more Fujifilm film types in the future.

Best regards,
Henning
