Fujifilm Pro 160S vs 160C?

Any feeling on this for general use? I guess S is aimed more at weddings?

Also why is 160C 30% higher priced?

I guess it depends on what you consider "general use." I use the 160S for portraits, it seems to be less saturated. If I was doing landscapes or something where I wanted more saturation, I might try the 160C or perhaps Kodak VC or UC film.

Don't know why the prices are different...seems kind of odd. Actually, at B&H they sell officially imported 120 rolls for the same price $3.75 each. there is about a 10% difference in gray market 120 rolls. I didn't investigate other formats. I guess there could be market conditions that cause different prices.

I didn't even think of that. With the demand for 220 seeming to drop to very low levels, there might be an over abundance of the 160s.

BTW, Profilm.com has 160S in 120 for $12.95 a propack. I have ordered a lot of stuff from them and been happy with their service. Here is a link: http://www.profilm.com/ViewProduct.aspx?id=100403. They don't have 160C on their site right now.

Doesn't look like they ship to Canada. Plus with B&H I can just throw some into the order and not pay much if any extra for shipping.

Figured out the price difference. I was comparing US 160C to imported 160S

Fuji 160C is more suitable for general use of the two you mention Nick, I use a lot of 160S for portraits, I find it a bit low in contrast and colour saturation for general shooting, I usually use Fuji Superior 100 it has a lot more punch, and still produces good skin tones for the occasional people shot.
