Fujicolor 200 & Sunny 16

While looking at the data sheet on this film, I noticed the exposure guide for bright sun light is f16 at 1/500. Does this mean I've been shooting it wrong so to speak by using the sunny 16 rule (f16 at 1/200). Not a super big issue to me, but wanted your thoughts. Thanks.

Actually...I just realized the 1/500 is for seashore or snow. Oops

Welcome to APUG My guess is that 1/500 and 1/100 would both produce quite acceptable prints.

As far as I remember Fuji C200 has an exposure latitude of +3/-1 .

I've shot this using sunny 16.

Treat it like iso 100 film and it looks great.

Treat that film as if the ISO is 200, which it is. There is no reason to derate the film.
