The wife and I just got back from a swing through the Black Hills, Tetons, Yellowstone and Wyoming. I was wondering for weeks ahead of time what to do. I left the medium format stuff at home. I used a F5, mostly 85mm f1.4 lens. Shot 8 rolls of Provia-F, auto bracketing each shot.
I developed today with Fuji Pro-6 E6 chemistry. I'm going to pick approximately 30 of the best shots, mount and use a projector.

The beauty of reversal film is all you need to do is develop the film to see results. Without the bracketing I would have been in trouble.

I will scan a few and make some inkjet 5x7s

Worked great. There's nothing more fun than developing slides.
Best Regards Mike

Sounds like a great trip. This summer we rode through Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Colorado. I took my 6x4.5 Bronica, and shot 10 rolls of film. I'm not developing color myself yet, so I sent them off to be developed. The C41 (Ektar) came out great, I'm waiting to find out on the E6--Velvia 50, but I'm optimistic. I brought several backs and did a number of cross emulsion bracketing. So I'm curious to compare Ektar and Velvia and Fomapan 100. (I didn't take that much black and white, so it will mostly be the Ektar vs. Velvia)
