Ok I've done a search and most people say it's discontinued. It's still on the Fuji USA site but states its availability is limited.
I rang Fuji Australia and they said 'of course sir, we have all the Velvia products in stock'.

Anyway, can someone here confirm or deny whether this is still available and whether there is still chemistry around?

Here is a link to the Fuji USA website:

"Limited availability" no doubt is code for "discontinuing" in the US market. The material's propensity to be scratched and/or crimped extremely easy (similar to Ilfochrome's weakness in both regards) is ultimately the biggest worry during handling, exposure and post' activity.

Take a look at Fujiflex, I think it's the same type of paper youre looking for
(Ciba-chromelook in RA-4 chemistry)

I bought a roll of it last week ( but they have only three sizes :30cm, 60cm and something like 150cm wide by 61m long)

Albert, where do you buy Fujiflex material? I take it you're in the Netherlands, can it be ordered anywhere in the EU?

No, it's a negative/C-type material, used with regular RA-4 chemistry.

I ordered it in France( Angers 300km west of Paris), directly at Fujifrance, (I've got an account at Fuji). I've sought for Ilfoflex but got no repley from Ilford so that's why I looked elswhere. I haven't tested this paper in depth but the teststrip looks like the Ilfoflex material.
