If it is anything like the X100F, it works just fine. Unless you're talking about manual focus. The controls suck for that. You have to use live view mode and the focus ring is tiny.

The F has a focus scale in the viewfinder, too. Good if you are good at estimating distance, but I would prefer live view for focusing. Having said that, AF is better for me.
