Granted, my main Fuji is as far from this work record as you can get (GX680), but I'm continually pleased by Fuji lens sharpness and quality.
The GX680 lenses are great. The 50mm is a work of art. The 90 on my Texas Leica is great. Even your little point and shoot seems to remarkably good for such a modest thing. I don't mean to be a fuji fanboy, but between these and your 220 experiments with that 690iii of yours, you're showing the capabilities so well it's almost an advertisement for Fuji glass. Albeit somewhat obsolete glass.
n, so I think I'll be selling my other one
Dude, I JUST bought one. Like, it arrived Tuesday just. I could have gotten yours for a known good camera... not that I'm really gambling here. It was $35.
Question: The pano. Is it the same frame just cropped on the film? So the negatives are 36mm wide? Not a different lens or anything?
Great pictures. But the camera its kinda ugly, isn't it?
Yeah it just crops it. But what is awesome is that the VF view changes - a mask drops down in that too and different pano frame lines appear.
Moose, which version did you get? Pano or regular?
.. They're mushy buttoned beasts. I still don't know precisely when I took a shot as I hear the lens focus and the film advance, but it's not a "click" or anything. Somewhere in there I assume the shutter fired..
I have a Stylus with a Pano mode, the bright line for the Pano Crop is just that a bright line, sort of annoying as I do not use Pano much, come to think about it, not at all.
