I already had a Working Fuji STX-2 and decided to look for a second one. I found one in what looked like good condition and bought it. I shot some Tri-X test film with a 50/1.6 X-Fujinon. I developed the film with F76 Plus. The first six frames were just right. No light leaks, good spacing between frames and proper exposure. The next seven or eight frames were badly overlapped. I know the STX-2 is not the sturdiest camera ever made. In my imagination, there is a lot of plastic in the winding mechanism. I hope the repairman I ask to look at it doesn't get too upset. Have repair people been using 3D printing to make replacements for mechanical parts? The AX series does not have a very good reputation for reliability and I haven't had much luck with them myself. If I can keep two STX-2 cameras working, I can have some fun with the X-Fujinon and X-Fujinar lenses. Today I got a Soligor 70-210/4.5 in X mount in nice shape. I also have the M42 adapters and Tamron Adaptall II adapters.
