Absolutely. If Fujifilm do pull out and Kodak is left as the sole supplier of C41 it leaves colour film photography on very shaky grounds.
Fuji had a much better film portfolio until the culls started happening. After using Natura 1600 at my wedding I'm missing it now it's gone.
Indeed losing Natura 1600 is a big loss (the colors are surprisingly gorgeous). So was Reala 100. Fujifilm had a great C41 product portfolio. It's a great shame that the market could not rally around and support them. Perhaps more could have been saved. Fujifilm is a 100% rock solid company, in no financial danger whatsoever. The executive team made all the right decisions making the transition from being a film company to one that makes most of it's money outside of photography. They wanted to stay involved with photograph for heritage reasons, but now that falls solely on INSTAX film.
