I checked out the much recommended film store here in Rome and found a film that I never saw before: Superia X-Tra 400 made by Fujifilm. This is commonly available in 135 size but here in Rome you can buy it in 120 size. I bought a roll for novelty purposes but have not shot it yet. I'm guessing that the film is more saturated than 400H.
I'm baffled why Fujifilm would make this film and then sell it in such a limited market. You can't buy this film in China. I didnt see it in the UK. Heck I didnt even see it when I was in Japan the last two times there. I don't think you can buy Superia in 120 size in the US.
It just seems very odd that Fujifilm has this film for sale in such a limited market. Oh well, I guess it will get chopped next.
