Indeed, if you do an emulsion transfer you get a very durable object that won't easily tear, it's very nice but then you'll have to glue it down or something, it won't stick well on its own. Anyway
here is an example from when I was testing it. I just did ~1 min in almost boiling water, then transferred it (with backing) with a spatula to cooler water so that I could handle it more easily, and then it slid right off. Next you might as well clip it up to dry because it won't stick on its own to anything, as far as I can tell.
The
image transfer technique is apparently quite different from what you do with polaroid, apparently you have to do the actual transfer in the dark. I haven't gotten it to work satisfactorily yet.
