This morning, I got a notice from B&H Photo that one of my favorite films, Fuji Neopan 1600, was available again. I thought that it had been discontinued last year, so I was a bit surprised to get that announcement. When I looked on the Fuji USA web site, the film was listed there, too. Does anyone have any information about this?

I had a live chat with them and they listed only 7 rolls as being in stock. The price is up from the $3.79 I paid before it was "discontinued". The rep couldn't get me any info on expiry or anything like that though. I have a sense it will be on backorder again very soon

That didn't take long. Now listed as discontinued once again. They must have found a box in the warehouse.

And now -- as of about two minutes ago -- it's back listed as In Stock at B&H...

My guess is that there's just lots of remaining stock around. This film is still easy to find in the UK at a good price. This pattern happened with T64 which was discontinued for months whilst stocks remained high.

Damn. $4.99! Well I guess it's cheaper than Ebay.

Thanks for the info. That solves a major problem I am having, after starting a project years ago with it, and then BOOM it's gone. Glad there's some stock somewhere to pick up again.
